Transfer Our flight arrived in the evening and it was great to be picked up by krakow Shuttle for transfer to hotel. Booked beforehand online.

eating out in kazimierz try the restaurants around the jewish square food was fantastic and very cheap. typical 2 course meal with 3 drinks each ie- beer for the men, wodka & coke for the girls, for 4 of us cost around £50 with tip included, excellent value for money.

Day Trips There are many organised tours offering trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines at hefty prices. It is so much cheaper and more satisfying to go by public transport as there are plenty of buses going to both these places for a fraction of the price - less than £3 return pp to Auschwitz by bus compred with up to £25 pp for an organised trip.
