| Bartlowizna hotel is located in Goniadz - town that lies in the middle of Biebrza marshes - the fabulous area, with hundreds of bird species and the biggest population of Elks in this part of Europe. Speciality of the place is a replica of 17th century inn - made entirely of wood. Bartlowizna occupies plot of the land directly at the river bank, with direct access to the river. Hotel itself - located next to the inn - is average quality. Rooms are rather small (at least the one we got) and there's very basic equipment provided. I would say owner should travel more around Europe and see how rooms in this kind of place should look like. Other that that place is OK - they have sauna, jacuzzi (both extra charged), you can also play table tennis. Anyway that's the best place in Goniadz, since it's one of 2 hotels in the town, and the other one's quality is still lower. Frankly speaking you don't go there to stay in the room, therefore despite modest room furnishing you can stay over there for a couple of days without big discomfort - bathroom (although also basic) was clean, mattress in the bed was comfortable, therefore me and my wife will definitely return over there, especially that - as said earlier - competition is very much limited, so to speak ;-) |
