Top Local Tips for Gdansk

Airport to Hotel Take a taxi. Cost should be only 50 Zloty to Gdansk centre. 25 minute trip.

A great restaurant called Latajacy Holender Bar/Restaurant In English its called " The Flying Dutchman" and from the outside looks like any old sports bar type restaurant ( the sport bit is hidden away upstairs amd the dining is downstairs) but on the inside you are met with great service and excellent food. Try the Golonka and Peirogi especially. How good is this restaurant well at the time of our numerous visits we were the only Tourists eating there and the rest were all locals and that gives you a clue on good the place is. The restuarant is situated next to the Sphinx restuarant on the Motlova end of Dlugi Targ.

Salonik restaurant Salonik Restaurant on Dlugi Targ-you cannot miss it! You can eat a beautiful Polish 3 course meal (try the Zurek soup to start) for under £40 per head and the surroundings are beautiful.
