Gallery Restaurant is Fantastic! Being vegetarians we were expecting to have to find a pizza parlour to eat at, but we happened upon a fantastic restaurant in Bydgoszcz's Old Town with various dishes on the menu. The location is in a square which has several restaurants in it. The Gallery has a dark canopy outside the front door. You go downstairs to the restaurant - it's 2 PLN to put your coat in - payable on departure. The staff are really friendly and speak good English. We had a two course dinner with wine, which came to approx £36 for the both of us (£15 of that was for the wine - which was the expensive bit). I can't say enough good things about the food, it was the kind of quality you'd expect from a Michelin starred restaurant somewhere. The presentation was amazing, as was the taste. We went back for lunch the next day and had another two course meal and the quality was exactly the same. It was spotlessly clean and nobody was smoking. Highly recommended, I just wish we were going back sometime soon!
live music The Lizard King at Focus Park is a great live music venue.Recommend the Smak and Stary Port for food and drink
