I give the hotel a 8 because the hotel could use a few upgrades, such as internet access for the guests, new linen, etc. I am speaking from a western point of view. Remember Poland is an emerging "Eastern" European country, although recently included into the EU. Most establishments accept the Euro, Dollar (albeit not as strong as the Euro and usually not accepted outside of Boleslaweic), Zloty, and major credit cards.Leave your traveler checks at home.
The place is "a diamond in the rough",oozing with antiquated charm, quirky, safe, clean, and reasonably priced for the adventurous budget traveler.
