Seeing the Northern Lights We stayed six nights and saw the Northern Lights on three nights. Head up the hill, turn right after the graveyard then left and the meterological institute. the lake on your right has a platform which will get you out of most of the light pollution - as it is on top of the hill it is a good place to be. Remember to bring a tripod or set your camera to a high ISO setting. Oh, and wrap up warm!
