Staying at the Fjellstue in Rjukan is an experience not to be missed. If you want wireless internet and mini-bars go somewhere else, this is for the connoisseur! Ideal for Hardangavidda ski touring and with excellent views, a warm welcome, superb local food and a landlord full of character! If asked the owner will take you on a tour of the Heavy Water Plant raid made famous as "The Heros of Telemark'. We were also lucky enough to meet one of the raiding team! A beautiful tranquil establishment offering everything you would expect of a Norwegian mountain family hotel but with the added bonus of feeling as though you had travelled back 40 years to a simpler calmer time! Fantastic!!
