We did, in the two days we stayed, not meet any staff at all. We booked on the internet, and checked in in a machine, and met no staff at all - we ended up in a very cozy small coffeeshop in the citycentre, called Brasseriet, who had a friendly staff, and pointed us where to go and what to see.
The "rooms" are very nice, but this is no hotel, in the summer you have to rent at least for a week (and trust me - it's not cheap), there is no staff to ask about anything, no front desk, actually it's only a nice appartement, situated far away from the city centre (15 minutes away). Some might like it, but for us it was all wrong.

Det Lille Hotel has 10 beautiful, comfortable and romantic suites/apartments in central Risor. All with fully equipped kitchens where you will find all you need to have an excellent breakfast; coffee, tee, eggs, bread, cheese, jam and more. If you will not make your meals by yourself, you can order from the nearby restaurant, or even better, as we did, order a complete lobster and seafood table from the local fish depot. Det Lille Hotel offers free ADSL, bicycles and room for treating fish with a freezer for those like me who loves to haunt fish along the beautiful coastline surrounding the town. The friendly hotel staff is happy to arrange boats for hiring and everything else you may want or need.

This is nice apartements located in the center of Risor. But we wanted a hotel (with breakfast in the morning and a restaurant), so a little disapointed there (guess we didn't read the websites good enough). It's nice, but expensive, and has no restaurant, so you're forced out in the evening.
