Top Local Tips for Oslo
High costs can be avoidable No-one would say it was cheap but Oslo is very tourist friendly on a number of levels. The city centre is compact enough to walk around. Everybody speaks English. It has to be one of the most civilised cities in Europe. Art lovers will find some of the best museums in northern Europe within this relatively small space and most have free entry Get a cheap flight and a great hostel and you'll find yourself able to cut the cost of your trip quite considerably.

No noise from the street or other rooms, best breakfast I've ever had in my life (and you don't have to pay extra for it) with all sorts of food, including typical Norwegian stuff.
It's a great hotel for you to stay, no matter what kind of trip your doing, you can leave your luggage there if necessary, and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. I can't think of anything wrong with it. Actually, the only improvement I can think of would be if there was free internet access for guests (there is internet access but it's charged). But that's not a big deal so I give it a 10.
