Top Local Tips for Bergen
Norway in a Nutshell I highly recommend doing the Norway in a Nutshell trip - we did it all in one day without difficulty. We took a train from Oslo to Fram, then another scenic train, then boat, bus, and final train to Bergen. It was a long day, but very enjoyable and gave us an excellent feel for the natural beauty of Norway. It was the highlight of our Norway trip.
Good location to tour the Fjords Bergen allow ready access to the Sognefjord and Hardangerfjord, which gave us many find moments. Trous often go out by boat and return by train so that one sees the best of the Norwegian scenery. The art museau is definitely small scale but the natural history and cultural history museums offer a lot of information on Norway.

Nice, clean rooms and I would say also big rooms compared to other simular hotels I've stayed at around Europe! Cosy, "home feeling" breakfast in main building in a little bit narrow room, but that just made us talk to other guests that also is a positive thing and gives new experiences.
