The company I used to work for put us up in the Mabi frequently, as it's cheap and clean. The staff there are always friendly and as helpful as possible, given none of us speak the language! It is one of those places you must just take on face value. It's an old picture house that's been converted and they have themed it as such. Ideal for the centre of the town, clean rooms and spacious enough bathrooms, what more do you want when on business? You even get free tokens for frequent stays!

Contrary to the review below...I found Hotel Madi fine for the price. The location is great and the hotel staff was very responsive to me. (called 2x first to help w/the room heater, then the safe which I managed to lock w/out knowing the combo 100%...oops!). I've been here just one night but so far so good. No complaints. Regards, Just Your Average New Yorker ;)

Spider infected room and HORRIBLE management.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life in this place when, upon returning from a business dinner, I discovered that my room was infected with spiders. They sent a cook to deal with them and he came back with a clear plastic bag with 7 of the critters inside. The management of the hotel was unfair, rude and despicable in dealing with the situation. I was forced to take my things and try to find a room at this hour of the evening! Needless to say, after this experience I hope to never have to return to Maastritch
