Top Local Tips for Den Haag

Let the train take the strain Don't schlep from Schipol; get the train to Den Haag (HS or Centraal) and a cab or a No 1 or 9 tram from there. Den Haag HS is on the Thalys high speed rail network (eg Brussels 2 hours) and delivers you from city centre to city centre. Schipol, like most airports, is a nightmare, anyway. My typical journey is London to Brussels by Eurostar (2 hours, meal at your seat) and Brussels to Den Haag HS by Thalys (2 hours, ANOTHER meal at your seat) then a cab. It's about 5 hours door-to-door.
