| A tradition of value |
|
I first stayed here in the late eighties, having been introduced to the place by my Father who'se been staying there since the 70's. In total I reckon to have made about 6 or 7 stays there spanning nearly 20 years.
Firstly the hotel is safe and clean. It also offers fantastic value being located near the Casino and Park and just a 5 min walk from Leidseplein.
Secondly I like the setup- in a traditional Amsterdam house and run by the very likeable Meneer Wijnnobel who is getting on a bit but still as sharp as a tack. | Great location! |
|
This Hotel was a pleasant surprise for only € 25.00 per night. Breakfast was good and served in my room and was a great way to be awoken in the morning. My room was on the back side of the building and the view was of a beautiful courtyard with lots of birds and I am sure, plenty of flowers in season. Had my room been located in the front of the Hotel the view would have been Vondelpark.
The Hotel’s location is excellent; it is near several Museums, the Casino, Club Paradisio and the Leidseplein District to name but a few of the attractions in the area.
