Definitely the smallest room I have ever stayed in, police cells are bigger. Needed oxygen climbing the stairs sorry vertical ladders to the third floor. Could easily touch both walls with my arms at the same time as it was so narrow. We had booked double bedroom & got two singles, shared bathroom & shared shower room. No television & disgusting breakfast, which we had to leave. No one was interested in our problem with the single beds & without doubt terrible value for money. Certainly won't go back there or recommend it to anyone.

For those of you who might feel deterred by the unflattering photo they've published online on most hostel sites, push those doubts right out of your mind. For about 30 Euros per person per night (one private room with two people) this is one of the cleanest hostels I've ever seen. In comparison to the Flying Pig it seems like the Shangri-La. I was kind of concerned about this place when we first booked it, but I would highly highly recommend it. You'll......

I thought this hotel may be a bit of a dive when I read other reviews before our stay.
How wrong I was, the bar area is a traditional brown bar, however the rooms appear to have just been refurbished and there was a lcd tv in our room.
OK the shower and toilet are shared but for the price this is equally as good as anything charging twice the price.
The door is locked at 4am - that is late enough as very few (or none) of the bars are open anyway. Great location for train station and just on outskirts of RLD.
