Snug but pleasant

The Amerstadam Swissotel is pleasant. It's rooms are small and somewhat cramped compared to other Swissotels, but that may be a function of limited space in Amsterdam. Staff is courteous. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We had a massage in our room (my wife and I) and we both thought it was expensive and mediocre. The espresso machine serving Lilly coffee is a great touch in this chain's hotels. I would recommend it, even if it is a solid cut below some of the other Swissotels.

A wonderfully clean and security concious hotel. You cannot use the lift unless you use your room card to call it. The rooms are fitted with all the mod-cons and are spacious and clean. The lobby, whilst not large, is clean and well-presented and the staff are very courteous and friendly. The hotel is extremely well located - right in the centre of everything you need. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a wicked hotel to stay in its centrally located, which is brilliant if your only there for the weekend cos everything is in walking distance. Its clean the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and fitted with everything you need including an iron. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
