£25 a night 2 mins walk from Central station and 2 mins from the main shopping area, this hotel was perfect for a cheap weekend break, the hotel was clean, towels changed everyday, continental breakfast was ok but there is plenty places around the hotel 2 get something 2 eat, much enjoyed this break and would go back in a second!!!!jammin min!!!

Top Local Tips for Amsterdam

GO to the Pancake Bakery Visit the Pancake Bakery on Prinsengracht, just north of the Anne Frank House. Delicious and not expensive. on a canal.

Fun activity The most enjoyable thing we did was to hire bicycles at Mac Bike on the Leidseplein and cycle around the Vondelpark. It was fun, safe and healthy and there is enough interest in the park (including 2 cafes, a hot dog and ice cream van, playpark, fallen tree to climb, water pond, wildlife etc) to ensure an enjoyable morning. Minimum hire time 3 hours for 6 Euros.

Anne Frank House Get your ticket on the internet before arriving. Certainly do not miss visiting.
