The most accommodating and friendliest staff!

Of the European city hotels we've stayed in, the staff here were by far the most accommodating, and friendliest, top marks for them. The hotel is well located (train from airport 6.1 euros each way/hotel bus 38 euros return) but there is some building work in the immediate area at the moment, and our room suffered from both this, and from street noise. Breakfast was about average price for this kind of hotel (20 euros) but very enjoyable, with nice surroundings and good service - recommended. We had a room with beams, which was very small but charming - although I must criticise the lighting which was woefully inadequate for shaving or making up. Our friends had more modern rooms, within the newer part of the hotel, which gained size and peace, but suffered a lack of character. On balance I'd still request a room with beams, so long as you're not too great in stature.
