Avoid this hotel like the PLAGUE...!!!

Absolutely lousy hotel... the room was small and dingy and the A/C was giving off such a bad smell that I had to turn it off!! The bed was horrible and it gave a backache after a couple of nights! Bathroom was smelling too, especially the WC. Light was blown in the entrance and did not get repaired throughout our 4-night stay in spite of repeated complaints. Breakfast was just about average with poor and repetitive choice. Service was lousy too.., the receptionist was cold and unhelpful. They never voluntarily give any useful information. Avoid this bloody hotel like the plague!!

Conveniently well placed just outside the main station. Basic facilities in room, specifically booked a smoking room but received a non-smoking room. Staff friendly. For the same price however there are more up-market hotels available in Amsterdam.

If you could only do one of the houses then go to the Anne Frank House instead of the Rembrandt House

Money off Attractions!!! In the Reception of this hotel there are several vouchers to use for museums etc with money off entry or in Gift Shops. The Receptionist should also give you some handy maps & books, which also contain vouchers.

I Amsterdam Get an Amsterdam pass from the local tourist office. It will save you money and will help structure your visit. Includes a map, free entry to lots of museums and an unlimited travelcard
