Fab location... but thats about it!

This hotel is never a 3* ! We were a party of 10 in 4 rooms. One was so small you had to climb over the beds to get in, another had a shower so badly designed you had to kneel and crane your neck. The quad room was a decent size but had brick wall views and you had to create a 'dam' out of towels in the shower as all the water ran to the loo! The bar was not manned, and the 'open fire' never lit (despite our request) so we froze. Breakfast very average - extra 5 Euros to have eggs fried!! There are far superior and cheaper 3* hotels in this vicinity - I would not go back here on further visits to Amsterdam.

Totally overpriced & misrepresented

This hotel is the perfect example of the thievery of the city. Having visited Amsterdam many times, this was a bad experience. The walls being thin is an understatement - I was put in a room with a twin bed - the room itself having literally 2 feet of space on three sides of the bed - smaller than a closet. And they dared to charge nearly 145 Euros.

OK hotel!

It is an OK hotel but not great value for money. The main drawbacks are the rooms are very small (even for Amsterdam) and the breakfasts are quite mean - orange juice is an extra for example. The walls are also very thin between rooms which is nice if you like to know just what your neighbour is up to! Great location though & very nice views if you get a room at the front.
