On arriving I noticed how cheap the furnishings were in the bar area but as our party checked in, out went the temporary seats and in come the real ones beautiful sofas and the like, as the hotel had only been open for about 3 hours.We were on the second floor as they were filling it from the bottom up.Our room (double) was clean crisp with a excellent bathroom with huge shower cubicle.The view isn't the best but hey were not there for the view. After a few large hienikens in the friendly bar we ventured into town.Town is some distance but just behind the hotel there is a metro station (tickets from tourist info, we paid 13 Euros for a three day pass which can be used on all trams and buses.Well worth it) 20 mins later your in the heart of the red light ditrict.The metro trains stop around 00:30 so if like us your out till the early hours a taxi is the only escape from a long walk, we paid 40 Euros for 4 of us at 4am.As we found out that they dont like you to smoke the old coffee......
