The location is great and this is maybe the only positive note. The staff is not very friendly, yet polite. The room was clean enough, but the window was broken and we didn't get any help about that. Breakfast is ok, nothing special but not bad. The reason why I won't stay there again is that they have the most unconfortable beds I've ever slept in!!! (let alone the old "army style" blankets). Definitely not a good experience!

This is probably the worst hotel room I have ever experienced. This was not the cheapest booking I have made to Amsterdam, yet the quality of accommodation was dire. My room, on the 6th floor, was no more than three and a half feet wide, at its widest. The room had neither a wardrobe nor even a chest of drawers or a shelf. There was no phone, so it was impossible to arrange for a wake-up call on the morning I left. I do not begin to imagine how the Cordial maintains a three star rating.
