Free classical concert On a Wednesday at 12:30, there is a free classical lunchtime concert lasting about 30 mins in the Concercabow concert hall. Arrive early as the que is long but well woth it!

Strip tickets for tram, bus, metro If you expect to use the tram more than a couple of times, get a strip ticket. 15 strips for €6.80 (Nov 07) - one zone trip uses 2 strips, two zone uses 3 strips etc. Good for tram, bus, metro.

MAKE THE MOST OF "CYCLYING PARADISE" If you're staying in Amsterdam the best way to get around and enjoy the scenery is to rent a bike, at least for a day. The cycle lanes are perfect to get everywhere in the city and cars respect cyclist way more than anywhere else I've been to. If the weather is nice, it's a must!!!
