I came here not expecting much but i was blew oot the water, never really seen the staff as me and me 3 mates were out enjoying the place or out of it if you know what i mean. we were loud and drunk yet never got asked to be quiet (dont know if its coz the place was empty) it was very comforting, spacious and the price was great, when we were there the pool table was free for guests at the bar well more like a mini bar you must remember we dont go over here for the same kinde of holliday as usual. all in all was grate and am booking up again with another 4 mates so ill c u in the bar peeps. Big D Scotland!

i have stayed at this hotel a number of times, the staff are always at hand to help, and the rooms are clean. what i like is that the shops are just up the road. it is a nice place to stay.

An excellent hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. It is in an excellent location and easy to find. Have stayed there twice and would again but its undergoing renovation until April 2006 so it can only get better.

I enjoyed my stay it was very nice people were friendly. It was very clean and tidy. But who wouldn’t enjoy being in Amsterdam?

Great in every way

I stay at the Village hotel every year when I go to Amsterdam because it is comfortable, cheap, and in a wonderful location near to various activates. The rooms are all clean and inviting, breakfast is served every day, and the owners are pleasant and very competent. I will never stay anywhere else in Amsterdam!

The Hotel Village is pretty much what you would come to expect in Amsterdam. Clean, friendly, well run. However, beware of a room on the third floor or above as there is no elevator...a big problem if you're in the 'Dam for the same 'special interests' as i was...
