Great little hotel in the best location, minutes walk from everything. Bring a lap top, free wifi throughout the whole hotel, very useful, the stairs are very steep but that's all over Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and well decorated, simple but modern. Will stay again!

This hotel looks great from the outside and the bar and staff located on the side of the builder created a fantastic impression, until we saw the room. The room was tiny, which the cleaner could not get out of the room, bathroom and toliet and the smell even affected all of our clothes. There was no view with the buiding behind situated 5 feet from our window. The place was noisy as sounds travelled and guests were noisy. This was a nightmare and I will never go there again.

Fantastic location!

Made a reservation on line with the hotel itself, we arrived @ 09:00 - the bar just opened & the room was not ready till 1200 (check in) we were given a comp drink and had our luggage stored, checked in & paid, all very quick! We were given a map & showed all the good locations & yes they are all walking distance from the hotel. We had a very nice room on the front of the building on the smaller side but after all it is only a 2 star hotel, I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over, according to me I think the Frisco inn has a lot of positive points... The stairs are step, be warned! We will stay again next trip to Amsterdam! Cory.

Great service and friendly staff

I stayed at the Frisco inn and was very imperssed with the service and was also impressed how close it was to the red light district and central station ! Will def go back and stay at the frisco ! very steep stairs tho but overall brilliant .

Friendly and convienient

Lovely hotel. Barman gave us the key and allowed us to look at the room alone, no pressure, hard sell or bartering. Just left us to it. Bar was very useful and helpful, room was clean and very comfortable and location simply amazing. Great hotel for young 20 somethings and travellers. Staff hospitable and friendly without being overpowering, just left you to get on with it. Barman had good local knowledge and answered all questions helpfully. Try the bacon and egg sandwich! Will be there again.

All in all this is a great little hotel in the dead center! rooms are simple and clean, stairs are steep, hotel and bar staff are helpful and very friendly... Not the best place to stay if you are above 60 y.o.a

Good location but very noisy

The hotel was only 3 mins walk from the central station, it is in an ideal location with the red light district and coffee shops just round the corner. The bar is tiny and the stairs are extremely steep. We stayed in room 4 which was small but clean. The walls must of been as thin as paper as we could hear people walking up the stairs and around their rooms, we even heard people sneezing. Overall not a bad hotel if your going to be out most of the time, and only using the room to sleep.

I stayed in Amsterdam last yr and I thought it was good except the location. So I looked for a hotel close to central station and found the Frisco inn we were not disappointed. We were far from it, it was perfect. Close to everything and I mean close. Defo going back and I suggest room 12... great view.

Very clean and well kept. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful all of the time. The location of the hotel is ideal, as the train station is only a 10 min walk away. Would reccommend this hotel to everyone...We were surprised that it does not have a higher rating. Happy Puffing.

We stayed in a four bedded room. Room was quite spacious and clean. Bedding was fresh, clean white cotton but was not made on second day. I don't know whether it is hotel policy not to make beds since it is very cheap? Shower is clean and good. Room is on top floors, stairs very narrow and winding. Keep having problems with light switch so be careful on those very steep steps. Overall good value for money. Good friendly staff and most of all central position. Could be quite noisy as near bars but as we are on third floor, not too bad.
