Hotel was terrible. Bathroom smelled like raw sewage and was unlivable. When we asked for maintenance we were told the problem couldn't be fixed and we could either deal with it or leave. We left but were still charged for ALL 3 NIGHTS! They would not refund our money and we had to formally dispute the charges with our credit card company. Unhelpful staff, total scam artists -- DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Hotel was grotty, room was very tiny, comfy bed with clean sheets, but a horrible dirty hovel. Will never return to this hotel, would happily pay more to get a decent hotel. In fact we were going to move out after first night but were there with friends and didnt want to upset everyone!

After booking this hotel through their web site, we were looking forward to what looked like a nice and reasonably priced hotel. When we turned up we were faced with a tiny dirty room with burns all over the bed clothes which was in fact just two small beds pushed together when we had paid for double. Then add that to the total lack of service, the trouble actually getting into our room at night, the noise, i could go on but i wont i just dont want anyone making the same mistake as us, so go somewhere else and don't waste your money there.

After reading terrible reviews about this hotel, I was slightly apprehensive to say the least! Me, my partner and my 12 year old son stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in June 05. Check-in was quick and painless, I was dreading this after some of the reviews. We were in room 25 which was a triple room. The room was big, basic, very clean and had everything we needed. Our room window opened up on to the back of another building, this wasn't a problem for any of us as we were there to enjoy the city, not spend all day looking out of the window! The hotel is above a steak house, although we didn't eat there, the food looked and smelt lovely. Continental breakfast was included, which was cold meats, cheese, bread rolls, cereals and fruit juice. This was nice, plentiful and well presented. You could have an English breakfast for 5.50 Euro's if you preferred. The day we were leaving, our flight was later in the afternoon. We checked out at 11am and were allowed to leave our cases......

Hotel De Korenaer has a great location. That's the only good thing I can say about it. We could hear everything going on in this slum-like hotel until the wee hours of the morning. My pre-paid room was down-graded and I never received my money back. Not recommended.
