Musty smells need updates

This hotel is in need of updating. Narrow halls and steep stairs and its dirty. Bath had tiles coming loose and a strong smell of urine,hotel staff were indifferent to all of our concerns. We couldn't wait to get out of there. NOT Recommended.
 

Top Local Tips for Amsterdam

airport It''s a pain in A** getting tickets for train to city center, there are machines taht take credit cards with pin only ,, not all the world has reached that yet. Or coins with no chage. To line up for 20 minutes to buy a 3.60 euro ticket and to be charged 50 cents for the fact taht you line up it's not a good Dutch welcome.My tip is if you line up then at least get the return ticket at the same time it will save the same at the other end.Otherwise the day card in city is great ,, buy a one day card and use it to get arround after that think you will find you walk everywhere,, I made the error of getting two day card and didn't relaly need it on the second day after got a map and dirrections.
