Great place for a budget traveller!

i've been here in March 2006 and it was a great stay! the location of the hotel is great close to all the museums and places for going out like cafe's, restaurants and bars. The room me and my friends were given was also nice. We were staying with 3 persons in one room. Our room has it's own shower and toilet. The view from the balcony was nice over the gardens. Overall the hotel was quiet and we had a great time here!

Top Local Tips for Amsterdam

Taxis The taxi we had when we arrived brought us from the airport to the hotel for aprrox. 60 euros. When we explained to the hote staf that the taxi in Amsterdam is very expensive he told us that it was a rip off(!) because it ussualy should be around 35 euros. So we reccommend you to take a taxi from the company TCA wich is the main taxi company for amsterdam taxis these taxis has a price list on their window and won't be charging you more then needed!
