michael's there is a cafe right outside of the grand harbour ran by a man named micael ..it;'s great food and nice family atmosphere

Public transport very cheap Use the busses from the central station to get around as alot cheaper than taxi's and good assistance from drivers...also u can get to pretty much anywhere in the .

Busses & Food Don't waste your money on taxis...always get the bus! They are reliable, often, really cheap and there is a stop everywhere. You can pick up a timetable and route planner from tourist information, which is located right by Valleta bus station. The are fun, yellow and basic. FOOD: Alway's organise when and where you are going to eat because there may be NO WHERE open by the time your appettite kicks in. If you are a student, use it to your advantage: Opposite a massive cathedrial in the centre are two outdoor restaurantes, the left one is an italian - there you can get 50% OFF YOUR MEAL!!!! Plus it is good food. Never expect fruit to be fresh and don't be afraid to try little cafés beside the harbour, there is a cute cheap one with tastey fresh fish and food - perfect for lunch.
