First time in Malta. Definitely will return. The only complaint I would make was the entertainment which was not up to the hotel standard. Irefer to the man who screamed opera The Saga reps & hotel manager were very helpful. The food was first class. I will stay there again.

Be warned, the cost of a phone call at this hotel is 1.5 euro +vat at 18% for 15 sec. Or 8 euro per Min, Or 480 euro for a total of one hour. The air conditioning did not work in any of our rooms. Just a fan only. You get bad smell At the pool, you will be pestered by flies. We both had an upset stomach for 9 days.

We had a 2 week holiday there and cannot fault it. The food was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the beds could have been more comfortable, but that is probably the only fault. We would definitely return.

Top Local Tips for Salina

Bugibba Taxi If you need to get a taxi back to the airport as we did, then we would sugest you go to Alexander's little shop in Bugibba they will organise one for €20, sorry dont know the name of the street but its not a big place and you should find it ok. They are a wonderful couple so very helpful.

don't rent a car We rented a car, the roads are very poor, the signs are a waste of time, and the parking is none existent. After 3 days we gave up on the car and used buses, absolutely brilliant!!

If you're going to St Julians/Paceville/Sliema Don't bother going to Buggiba first if you're going to St Julians/Paceville/Sliema - the bus runs past the main road outside the hotel - the number 70.
