Great location. Very central. Good views over bay. The hotel was very clean but rooms very basic and small. Went on half board basis and the food was poor. Bread rolls, cheese or jam for breakfast. Watered down fruit juice. Fruit (apple, orange)was bad. Had to pat 2.5 euros for cooked breakfast Evening meal was bland with little choice.

Going Back in October 2008!

A really good value hotel with unbeatable price compared to other accommodation in the same resort(I booked through Easyjet Hotels). The location is one of the best in Qawra/Bugibba as it is close to all amenities (all walking distance and if not then the bus station is in walking distance) with a good sea view. The rooms are very basic with no air conditioning but there is a fan (if you can get it to work). The rooms are cleaned daily and good enough to lay your head at night (just beware of the mosquitoes!). We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and have to say didn't think much to the breakfast although it was edible, there wasn't much choice. The drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced compared to UK prices. The local Maltese beer Cisk (pronounced Chisk) was extremely nice and very cheap. I'm not usually a beer drinker(my partner is though)and I have to say it was very palatable and my partner drank it all of the time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We love Malta so much that we are going back again and I always recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay. We did get a sea view room in September 2007 and did succumb to the repetitive sounds from the dodgems, which after a few nights did drive us slightly crazy. We also went back in November 2007 in a self catering apartment which was cheaper still but you could hear the neighbours at all times (won't be doing that again!). We walked past the Sea View Hotel and there were no dodgems to be seen but that's not to say they won't be there during the holiday season.

This hotel has a great location, right on the seafront just a short distance from the main square, however having no air conditioning it is very noisy and the rooms are tiny. No tea making facilities. We went half board (no choice) and we managed one breakfast and a few dinners - fine if you like frozen vegetables and processed meat or you could try cold omelettes or undercooked fish. However the new potatoes were lovely - see the Chef does know how to cook something. Would not return again.

Me and my wife arrived 24th June for a week half board, hotel great in a good location, the food was fine and the rooms were good. Did not here any of the noise from the dodgems over the road as stated by another reviewer, even when walking past them or any open air nightclub. We paid £239 pounds for our week and it was worth every penny

After reading the reveiws for this hotel prior to going, which was a very late booking on half-board, we thought we had booked a 10 day stay at Faulty Towers. First room seemed very airless so moved without any hassle, 2nd room had a balcony over the pool which got the morning sun and a balcony at the front which overlooked the sea and got the evening sun. Food was adequate, you had a choice for your 3 crs meal from a set menu. If you chose off this the meals were better. Could not beat the view we had but towards the end of the week (which was the start of thier holiday season) the dodgems across the road got louder and the open air night club just along the Bay strikes up at 11pm and goes on very loudly till 4am. Out of season without the dodgems and the place would be a good. Would like to return but would need to have the same room!!

Horrid, horrid, horrid. The half board food was absolutely dreadful, we put up with it for a week and complained to the Management and the Tour Operator, Mercury holidays (sunspot) who both ended up fighting over how much money each other got and forgot about the quality and the customer. The small pool was excellent for a splash around but you can get in it for the local residents who turn up and take all of the sunbeds and allow their children to run wild, being rude and abusive. The manager again refused to accept responsibility. The noice immediately outside the hotel was unbearable, dodgem cars with repetative music and within 100 yards, the resorts largest open air nightclub which is open until gone 4am. Use this hotel as a base only. Good bus service to other places.

Great place for a visit to Bugibba. Right on the front and only a couple of minutes walk from B'a Centre. Hotel is small but facilities are adequate. They're not modern and I'd use "functional" as a description. The staff are excellent as is the value of staying here. The 1/2 board food was really good and the price of the wine and beer is unbelievable in this day and age. The pool is big enough to cool down and have a bit swim in. Only gripe was that locals can use the pool area on a weekend (unwritten rule, apparently). Can't wait for next year!!!!!!! See you then.

We arrived with dismay - middle of the night with a wheelchair - loads of steps!! There was a flat entrance round back - and those wonderful people had made us two ramps for the reception area within two days! So kind and always there to help. Location is super, right by sea and yet on flat for wheelchair and near to shops and facilities if necessary. We are going back next week!!
