We arrived with dismay - middle of the night with a wheelchair - loads of steps!! There was a flat entrance round back - and those wonderful people had made us two ramps for the reception area within two days! So kind and always there to help. Location is super, right by sea and yet on flat for wheelchair and near to shops and facilities if necessary. We are going back next week!!

Top Local Tips for Qawra

Eating Out If you stay in Bugibba or Qawra you must eat out in the Mongolian Barbeque and Vinnies Restaurant. Both places we visited more than once.

Close to bus station for touring the island. Go there as see the history of the place. It will take you more than one visit to absorbe it all. Plus the people are great. (Bus drivers could do with a personallity transplant mind)

Great Buses, expensive taxi's The bus service is very good and cheap, taxi service is expensive, car hire is good but wait and book in the resort.
