I have stayed at his hotel many times over the years and have not many complaints we always had a cleaner every day and we got wat we paid for and more really, even though alot of bad reviews i would say try it and make wat you can out of ur holiday there, close to bus station and 10 mins away from beach front. you either love it or hate it!! x

We booked a weeks holiday 23rd sept 2008. It was our first time in Malta. Unfortunately, the Palm Court was recommended by Malta bargains. We paid 600.00 for the two of us for half board for a week. This is the most disgusting place and should never send human beings to stay in a place like this. The place is filthy, smelly and falling down. The beds are falling apart. Tthe carpets are full of stains. The swimming pool was all cracked and paint peeling. The sun beds were all broken and for the so called resturant, it was more like a dungeon that was so hot and smelly. We could not eat in there and we had to go out to eat.

I will never return to Malta after this holiday. The whole experience was truly awful. After arrival, I was given room key and made our way to the lifts. Opened room door and was greeted with an awful smell coming from the bathroom. Beds were grubby and having to sleep in them for just one night made our skin crawl. Also ended up with bites from them. Next morning, we made our way to breakfast. What an experience that was. Only ate toast because other food looked and smelled strange. After breakfast, made our way to the rep only to discover a large queue of guests who wanted to leave.

Despite all the bad reviews, me and my partner booked all inclusive for one week. Great staff, entertainment, standard rooms what do you expect at that price £245 all inclusive 7 nights but still liveable conditions. Npool area and an all round good experience. Hotel was in nice location. Only a short walk to Buggiba main square. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

We stayed here one week - all inclusive room was okay. On arrival at 6.30am however after a day at beach returned to find room flooded after roofing fault etc. Later we found out the rooftop pool collaspsed and we had to move to a hovel, but at at the end of the day we made the most of it. Malta was grea,t not this hotel though. Only ate breakfast as it was red hot and curry etc on menu most days. The staff was and the rep avoided most people.

The words, "you get what you pay for" have been banded about a lot in the reviews I have been reading on the Palm Court Hotel and this is exactly the point. This hotel is old and tired but it is clean and you have everything you need. You cannot expect the Ritz at £200-£300 a week all inclusive! Some of the staff needed to smile a bit, more and could have been a little more helpful. I'm not surprised they look glum!
If you want a 5 star hotel, pay for one. If you just want some sun, a couple of gorgeous barmen and a bed to crash in at the end of the night, The Palm Court is the place for you.

For the price I paid for a family of 5 I thought the whole experience very exciting. Palmcourt was I admitt very basic but clean, staff friendly, pool area clean and pleasant. Rep could have been a little more helpful.I certainly will be going back very soon.
