where do I start? ok. Hotel was dirty, room damp, halls stinking and as for malta well the time share reps are every where and if you say your not interested they get abusive. You walk and get covered in dog dirt. The kitchen was shut down the day we landed and reopened on the 20th oct the guests were changing rooms like I have never seen before some even changed hotels. I would not go back to the run down hotel or malta ever again.

We arrived at the hotel at 3 in the morning the hotel staff were very friendly they showed us to our room. In the morning we went down for breakfast it was good but not 5* but who expects that from a three star hotel outdoor pool was clean. Indoor was a bit dirty on inspection. The room was rather clean we had a few ants but the maids clean them up as soon as we told them. the maids came in the bedrooms every morning and put cleaned sheets on the beds and they also put fresh towels out and if you decided to stay in bed they just went straight back out and did it later they were never rude. the evenings in the pub were great there was always some sort of entertainment on whether it be karaoke or a quiz but we didn't stay in the hotel much most of the time we were of gallivanting whether it was walking or looking the island. The carpets in the hall we rather clean but its not as if u walk around bare footed is it. At tea time in the restaurant there was a big selection and it was different every night. Our stay was great for what we paid for so this is a great place to go for a cheap holiday. MAGNIFICENT!!!

After arriving on a delayed flight we saw the hotel in the dark and with 3 small kids we wanted our beds. which meant lifting our double pram upstairs 3 floors as it wouldn't fit in the lift. What a shock when we woke as our room wasn't that bad.The carpets, walls, and toilets were disgusting never been cleaned in years. Food in restaurant was in flight meals as the kitchen shut down by health and hygiene by 1 complaint of salmanella! What ever! Pools were unusable as they never been cleaned for years and you cant see the bottom of them. Staff used them to clean brushes and wash outside steps. Complain to rep she replys what do you expect for what you paid Buy when you pay for a 3 and 4 year olds as adults you do mind Dont go save your money and go somewhere else.

If there is one thing you ever do right in your life do not go to this hotel or travel with malta bargains. The hotel is a dosshouse well past its sell buy date. while there the kitchens were closed down by the maltese health and safety officials. The food is very average and is generally cold to warm. The staff are unhelpful and reply with the standard i know nothing. the rooms have not changed since the hotel was built and obviously never maintained. everyone on our flight did not have a good word to say about this place. its sister hotel the venus is only slightly better but not recommended. No matter what the price you would still expect to be treated better than this. I could go on relentlessly about this company and its hotel as it is truly and believe me i mean truly the "Holiday from Hell". do not go!!!! You have been warned.

We arrived at 5 in the morn after 3hr flight delay. Were given keys and left to find our own room when we entered were greeted with the smell of sewage I burst into tears, stayed in the room for 2hrs,went down & asked for another room which was no better than the 1st, so went back & demanded another room it was bearable, that afternoon we moved to the Venus. We never ate there as there had been cases of Salmonela. In all the hotel should be demolished, despite this we found most of the staff friendly. Will return to Malta but not palm court. Our honeymoon was supposed to be memorable which it was for all the wrong reasons.

You get what you pay for at Palm Court thats what every body says, fair enough it may be cheap but thinking about it, what you pay is to much to be treated disgustingly, to get ill from the food, watch cockroaches running about. I'm annoyed I payed now , we could have just gone to a rubbish tip it would have been cheaper and probaly more hygenic! But I did have a good holiday and I managed to live with it mainly because I resorted to eatng out and using the hotal just as somewhere to sleep, it was my first holiday without parents just friends so I was determined to have fun and I did , one thing on the other hand though i could not stand was the staff they are a complete disgrace !!!! Just thinking about them annoys me !!! They might give the hotel new paint, new furniture but one thing that needs changing is the staff. It annoys me people going on about how it was cheap you want the ritz pay for it. we didnt want to ritz but we did want at least the hotel to be of a half decent standard. i cant believe its 3 star, ive been to 4 it is completly different sooo much better, Palm Court hotel can't possibly be 3 star.
The location is good ill give it that and it seems the cockroaches think so to. They need to either do some serious re-modeling or pull the place down.
feel free to go there just dont eat the food or talk to the staff and if you dont mind the odd critter you'll be fine. have fun and good luck oh and one plus side there is a club called feugos (not sure of the spelling but its pronounced fw-ay-goes)its brilliant .

This place has got to be the worst hotel in the world. The locals call it Fawlty towers but to be honest it makes Fawlty towers look like the Hilton. We managed a sneak look at the kitchen and for one short second we thought the builders were in as the tiles on the floor were all cracked. We heard a rumour that it was going to be pulled down to make way for some new apartments which makes an awful lot of sense but does not help the people going there meantime.

Having read the reviews before going on holiday I was a bit worried on what to expect on arrival. My wife and I arrived at midnight we were directed to our room by the "friendly" night porter. On arriving, found the room to be clean, and fully air conditioned. clean towels and bedding, everything working in the bathroom,in fact for £179 each for 1 week half board no complaints yet. Next day came breakfast, no complaints there either,I wish we could have as many choices at home every day. The evening meals were the same, plenty of choices. Most of those that complain seem to want the "RITZ" then why did'nt they pay a lot more and go stay there,it was only up the road. We both enjoyed our holiday and will be returning in the future as we did'nt have time to see all the beautiful Island. So I say to all who read the bad reviews,if you want a base then the Palm Court Hotel is good value for money.

well after looking at all the reviews on here I thought I would go with a open mind and be positive about the holiday well we got there and it all went out the window after a couple of days air con packed and what made that worse our room had the sun in it all day not that I'm complaining about the sun in any way that was the good thing about the holiday we asked several times to see if they could do something about it and the answer was later or tomorrow this went on for two days it was so hot in there we had to leave the doors open in the end we got a man on reception to wire up the fan from the light socket for us that made it a little better .food well lets say we went out to eat not impressed must say the food out was very good, there is plenty of places to go and eat .the hotel wasn't very clean by any ones standards, must say the rooms where cleaned and the bedding was clean along with the towels but for the rest of the hotel ill say no more P.S. I did go home with a stomach bug that lasted two weeks. Overall it was value for money, but I would save more money and go else where than staying at Faulty Towers (as the locals call it).

We have stayed here 3 times we usually only sleep in it, till now the beds have been clean, rooms cleaned every day, dining area is a bit claustrophobic having no windows. There is always a good selection of food, I noticed the manager fellow keeps checking the temperature of the food. The main reason I use this hotel is, the price I pay is the same as I would pay for a flight from Glasgow. You could always Palm Court to get here and then book in to TAS-SALIB ,its next to the WEE 5 restaurant across the road .Its only £120 for 2 rooms for 4 people and they pick you up at the airport. Remember when comparing the Palm Court to any where else, that I've seen cockroaches and ants etc. in the Qawra Palace, Santana and others, you get creatures like that in hot countries. One thing that really needs done at the Palm Court is to change the carpets through out, they are BoGGING.

nice island to visit any one wanting fun and great views visit malta and all its sights, the first time i went to malta it was love at first sight.keep going back hoping one day to live in malta, just love the people and all the sights around the island.

Freeways Head to Freeways - it is literally 30seconds from the hotel. The people are very friendly and the prices are very very good. The best thing is that you get to keep the car for the maximum time as you can return it 30seconds away from the hotel! No need to pay for buses or taxi's back from the rental place or have to pay extra for collection!

getting about get out to popeye village, blue grotto, craft villages, valletta market sat/sun eat at vinnys buggibba sea front excellent food service
