This is the worst hotel I have been to. Arrived at 3am only to told room not ready and was kept waiting for 1 1/2 hrs for room which was to say the least disgusting. The beds were on a chip board base, the sheets did not fit and the room very small. The shower was so dirty and dated we only stayed untill 8am and left. If you have any standards whatsoever, you will not stay at this hotel. I have read many reveiws mostly bad about this hotel,the ones that say it was lovely must barking!

Just back from staying in the Panorama Hotel for one week from 26/04/08 - 03/05/08. Had a large corner room on the 3rd floor with a wonderful view of Mellieha Bay and out over to Comino and Gozo. The atmosphere in the hotel makes up for any short comings in the accomodation. We found our room spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was made up every day, the sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. The menu selection was limited but of an acceptable standard. Joe and the rest of the hotel staff were more than helpful and friendly, ensuring that our stay was a pleasant one.
All in all we would recommend this hotel as a base from which to go exploring the island. Mellieha itself is quiet at this time of the year but there is plenty to do if you are prepared to use the local bus service, which is excellent.

Top Local Tips for Mellieha
avoid the small hotels stay in the hotels by the beach for good night life or stay in the bigger resorts and visit Melliaha avoid the the hotels in Melliaha in the town if possible visit the town on the way to/from a visit to gozo otherwise forget it
good bus service always use public transpot very cheep and reliable.
