We stayed for a week on half board. I had expected to pay just under £400 for the food and transfers. The room having already been paid for through the Gift company. When we arrived the credit card details were taken and I expected to receive an account on leaving. No account was offered and when I asked he said it was all taken care of.On returning home I discovered that approx £750 had been taken from our card the day we arrived.
I am seeking to recover the excess charges from my card company.I have also written and complained to the Gift Company who are still promoting this hotel on their web site. Just be warned.

Rip off merchant Joe
I stayed at this hotel from 23rd to 30th May 2007.We were given a cost from Joe for the tranfer to the hotal from the airport, but after checking we discovered we could better his costings by 75%.On booking in at the hotel we were told by Joe about meals, I questioned this as we had been told the holiday was self catering and we had brought our own food. Three times he said there was no extra charge. He then asked for a credit card and produced a form which I read, it basically said that if during the holiday we caused any breakages we were liable and that was why the credit card was required. I was then asked for my pin number I niavely entered this as there was no amount showing and I expected at the end of my stay to settle up and sign for the appropriate amount. No costs were ever mentioned.
