Airport Taxis We tried to get the bus but it wasn't easy when you can't speak the language, so we decided to get taxis. We has done some research and knew roughly how much it should cost, but the taxi drivers tried to charge double when we mentioned the hotel. We then took a different approach and told them we were going to find a youth hostel on arrival and could they drop us at the town hall. The cost then dropped so its worth finding a local landmark near your hotel if it is a 4 or 5 star ones. On the return trip to the airport, the hotel sorted out our taxis and we were given a set price that was again half of what we paid before! We found out we could have rung the hotel on arrival and they would have arranged the taxi for us at this cheaper price. TIP: Call your hotel on arrival at the airport and get them to arrange a pick up taxi.
