My wife and I stayed for 7 nights at the Grotthus Hotel, food, rooms and service were excellent we couldn't have asked for anything more.
The Grotthus made our holiday in Lithuania something to remember.
We would like to come back to Lithuania, Grotthus Hotel will be our first choice of accommodation.

Taxis These all have meters but there is a monopoly on the airport service. Expect to get ripped off. The fee seems to be 60Lt whatever. It should only be about 40Lt, but maybe it's not worth quibbling about. If that is too much, catch the bus from the airport and take your chance! On the way back the taxi meter, covered up with a card, said 30Lt on arrival at the airport - but the fee was still 60Lt. I didn't have the energy to argue - and strangely the meter went blank when the driver turned off the engine!!
