Best Eatery We visited Venice as part of a pre cruise treat, in April 2008 having been to Venice previously it was great to return, do not miss a trip to La Zucca Food to Die for and always busy

Airport and finding the water taxi I don't know if it was just me but I found it hard to find the water taxis at the airport and I really wanted to arrive in Venice by boat! Ended up getting on a bus thinking it was taking us to the water taxis - big mistake and we ended up at Plaza Roma on Venice. So buy your ticket 13 euros per person, one way, in the airport to the left of where you come out of customs. Then through the front doors out towards where the taxis and buses wait and then turn left along the pavement where you will see a white covered walkway and that is the walk way to the boats. The cheapest is the Public Transport which is the last bay. I do not know how we missed the signs but we did!! Here's hoping you dont too.
