Nice hotel, great staff

Very happy with my choice of this hotel. The location is great. Easy to get to from the vaporetto stop at the Rialto Bridge. Also an easy and direct walk from the train station if you wanted to walk it. The central location is great so that you can stop in and use the restroom, freshen up in the air conditioning, etc. You can easily walk to every place of interest here, or get on a vaporetto boat on the Grand Canal. They had a computer in the lobby during day hours to use with free internet access. Lots of stairs, but the staff insisted on carrying my luggage up and down them for me. They were all so friendly and happy to help and give advice about the city. Even gave me tape for the package I was going to mail and made sure I knew where the post office was and how to use it. I had a very small room (double bed) with little floor space, but for just me it was perfect. two people will be a little crunched, but all the rooms in Europe seem to be small. I got a peak into the room next to me and it seemed a bit bigger. For the price it was great. the air worked ( you will want it if it is hot or humid out!), the hot and cold water worked. small shower, but clean. Comfortable bed. Seemed to be pretty quiet. very secure entry. Very cute, small, basic hotel. I would stay again. If I had more money, I would splurge on a luxury hotel, but I'm not really the type to be in the room for too long. So if I am comforatble while I'm in there, I'm happy. Can't say enough how friendly all of the staff were.
