Top Local Tips for Venice

AliLaguna Waterbus Use it - we had a "mini-cruise" before our actual cruise - and had no problems with the water bus at all. Just one thing - they advertise their prices on the website - do not believe it. We paid 12 Euro each for the trip from Marco Polo Airport to St. Marks Square (as advertised and expected). Then we paid an additional 6 Euro each for the trip from St. Marks to Stazionne Maritime (3 Euro advertised) plus 6 Euro for each piece of Luggage - (advertised as 2 pieces free).

Getting around Definitely take a boat down the Grand Canal...but then just get out and walk as much of the city as possible. You will not be disappointed. Everything is amazing...from the shops, the restaurants, the buildings and the streets.
