BED BUGS!

The Hotel Marte may be the most disgusting place I have even been. The weekend I went to Venice was extremely busy and this was one of the only places to stay. I bought a room for 22 Euro. I was not even a room. It had a door, yes, but that is about it. The bed was actually a cot and there was a small lamp. The worst part of my stay was that I woke up in the morning with many, and I mean MANY, bug bites. The bed I was sleeping in had bed bugs. When I told the lady at the desk she offered me a 2 Euro discount, yeah thanks a lot. Don't EVER stay here.

The Marte Biasin was a great cheap place to stay in Venice, very centrally located. Sure, it isnt the Ritz, but for the price it cant be beat!!! More of a private hostel accomudation type. The owners and receptionists were uber helpful and sweet!
