I found this Hotel to be lovely, it was very clean, the room was big and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly, there was a lot of choice for breakfast. I chose this hotel asit was cheap but it certainly didnt feel like some cheap hotels I've stayed in. It was lovely, and as it was situated on the Lido, it wasn't very busy. It was right among shops and restaurants, and only a 2 minute walk to the vaporetto (water taxi). I recommend it.

Considering the main island hotels, this hotel is less congested, and the location is nice. The double room that I stayed in was extremely small, and the bed was not very comfortable.

Top Local Tips for Venice
Waterbus Tickets Don't be fooled into buying a ticket for the water buses on a daily basis - you can buy a one-day; two-day; three-day or a seven-day pass. These are FANTASTIC value for money and saved us an absolute fortune. You can jump on and off the water bus as much as you like. Excellent value for money!
Murano or Burano ? Unless you have a penchant for glass sculpture, avoid Murano. Instead take the waterbus from Lido St Nicole and enjoy the 45 trip to the tiny island of Burano. Uniquely coloured houses, lovely eateries and away from the hustle and bustle. A great way to spend half a day.
