Great Staff and perfect location and great rates for Venice

I spent a week here last summer. You can't ask for a better location, right across the street form the water taxi station.The staff was friendly and helpful. The rates were very good and the rooms with the view of the lagoon were clean, not fancy but very adequate and the view was perfect. I loved my stay here.

Top Local Tips for Venice
Very expensive, Public transporation in venice is very very expensive, to get from lido to venice is 6.50 euros considering 5 min ride, from airport to LIDO was 12 euros. If you decide to take a gondola ride again 80 euros.
Buy the Rolling Venice Card IMMEDIATELY! Make sure you buy the Rolling Venice Card as soon as you arrive since it gives you great discounts on public transport, museum entries and also includes COMPLIMENTARY transport to&from the airport (which would cost more than the card!)
