Train Station Employees (civil service) cafeteria To save some money & get a good lunch in Venice, try to cafeteria at the Train Station. As you come out of the station, head right to the end of building and go through the doors at the end. Up some stairs, you'll see the cafeteria. It is for civil servants, students and anyone who happens to know about it. The food is substantial and for Venice, inexpensive. No atmosphere except the local Venetians and mainlanders.
