Top Local Tips for Venice

Tourist Menu Venice is expensive, but there's some great tourist menus totted around in various restaurants, between 15 to 25 euro for a 3 course meal. It's usually traditional Italian menus too.

how to get around venice and italy Well during our stay we found to our delight that the italians are very lax when it comes to checking tickets on there public transport. On our first day in venice we paid 6 euro for a ticket on the vaperetti ( what a waste of six euro ) no body checks them so from then on we hopped on and off as we pleased . We say chance it if your brave enough !!!!!!

Exlore other side of canal!! Go across the canal and explore. There are few tourists and quiet streets to walk. The food is wonderful and locals are sitting around everywhere. Zucca was favorite restaurant on that side, the smell down the alley drew us back to eat there after we had passed it and walk around a corner.
