Very cozy and GREAT staff

Stayed in Oct 2007. Very close to bus station. Hotel was cute and cozy and right on the canel. But the best part is the staff - the owners are awesome. Very helpful and accomodating!

This hotel was great. No frills type of place but very clean, good location, friendly staff and great price. This isn't a luxury hotel but if you just want a nice clean place, this is it.

Stayed several times always same courteous and welcoming manner. The 2 brothers who run it are helpful and kind. Always go there when in Venice, can't fault it.

Lonely planet readers deserve good fortune, we overlooked a canal from 2 windows, my wife called to the gondoliers and they sang back.
Can't beat that. All amenities excellent for the price. Staff helpful, room fine for the $$, breakfast fine, near the bus and train. Want 5 stars, go elsewhere, we will return to Venice 07 and I will do the Aussie value research and doubt I will beat the Dalla Mora!!

Top Local Tips for Venice

Gondola ride Just do it! Forget about the price and your preconceived ideas and let yourself be swept away. Planning our trip to Venice we were absolutely certain that we weren't going to waste money on such a "touristy" thing to do and had told the children it was not going to happen but...... the magic of Venice just crept up on us and before we knew it we were on one. It was so exotic and special and a real highlight that our whole family recalls with the fondest memories.

Luggage Pack light! There are bridges everywhere! We had to cross only two bridges from Piazza Roma to get to the Dalla Mora hotel, but it was not fun with our several pieces of luggage.

bus/boat pass Its a good idea to get a 24 hour/ 36 hour or 72 hour boat pass as it allows you to get on and off as many times as you like ( and you will want to!) and you can use it to get the bus to and from the airport.
