Price superb, great location, rooms clean large enough for wheelchair however due to newness of Hotel disabled facilities in bathroom not yet finished eg fold up/down arm on each side of toilet not in place. Shower for wheelchair person in place but not yet working. Staff excellent, 2 worthy of mention - Andrew and Edith.

Top Local Tips for Venice

From the Airport to Venice In Venice, when you arrive at the airport, get a luggage cart. They are available for use, you can take them from the airport, directly to the water taxi, or bus. It is a good walk to get there and this makes taking your luggage much easier. It costs a little more for a water taxi, but then they will drop you off next to your hotel. If you take the bus, you have to walk from the bus stop. With luggage, this can be cumbersom! A water taxi is well worth the cost.

Transport and getting around Use the Vaporetto to get about it seems expensive at first, you can buy a 1,2,or3 day ticket this means you can have some great excursions for the price of bus ticket

Finding your way. We brought a map with us but found we were still getting lost because of all the twists and turns on any route we took but after we purchased a compass all our problems were solved,as long as we knew what general direction to follow we didnt get lost any more.
