Great value, beautiful rooms

I stayed in this hotel in 2000. It was exceptionally good value at the time (it may have gone up a lot since then). The location was very central, the rooms were a good size, decorated with antiques and nice big bathroom. We also had a very good meal at the hotel restaurant. Would stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Venice

Venice Nice enough place however as it's overpriced and a bit dirty I would recomemend it only for a short stay of one night at the most, or ever just a day trip. For me it's great to tick of list of things to do before you die but one day would have been enough.

Harry's bar? Frankly could not for one moment see what the fuss is about. Had our bellini and opted not to try the "legendary" carpacchio for lunch as we just couldn't believe how drab it really was.
