Lovely hotel in great location, away from the tourist traps

What a great hotel?! Small and friendly with very helpful staff, clean, well decorated rooms with views over the side canals of the Grande Canal, approx 1hr 30 mins walk through backstreets and piazza's otherwise unexplored by the hoards of tourists from St Marks Square. Vaporetti stop just 250m away from the door to the hotel which takes you to all the main attractions - 10 euros for a day ticket! Will definitely return to this charming hotel.

Quite, right place in Venice

Arlecchino was fine for us. The location makes it easy to arrive and to depart without making long walkes while carring the baggage. Everything was nearby and the people working there where very friendly.

Comfortable with an Old World Feel

The room was very comfortable and clean with old style furniture overlooking a small canal. The hotel provided a very nice continental breakfast each morning. The room price was relatively reasonable. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult getting instructions from the staff on duty on how to make phone calls from the hotel room. It was close to the train station but far enough away to walk with a heavy bag and would have been expensive to take a water taxi. It was in a good location for walking the back streets and exploring Venice without being in the really busy areas. Lots of restaurants in the area. Close to the boats running along the Grand Canal I would stay here again with lighter luggage.
