Superb Hotel & Perfect location

I stayed with my family for two nights in this great hotel. The staff was very helpfull and nice with my family, the location is perfect, next to Accademia and Peggy Guggenheim Museum. The rooms with the balcony and the Canal view are adorable!!!! We would stay again in this Hotel!!!

Top Local Tips for Venice

Save your money Don't be tempted to buy a 3 day pass or anything like that for the ferries as you end up just walking everywhere anyway. Also unless you have set your heart on a certain restaurant, or go at a particularly busy time, don't reserve restaurants before just drop in somewhere.

check your flight times!!!!!! there are no public transport services which will get you to marco polo for early am flights.......if your flight leaves at 6am you are doomed to pay for a private water taxi at appx. 90euros

Restaurant Storico next to hotel dont go here - the risotto was great and its rated well in Rick Steves, but way overpriced and the portions are skimpy.
